Joe Marshall started his career in the automobile business in 1989, in Louisville, Kentucky. Most dealerships are started from a family business, but that is not the case with Joe. He came from a family of 7 and most of his siblings are in the medical field. He is the only person in his family who had been in the car business. In Louisville, he was part owner of a Toyota dealership and worked hard to make an impression on the business.
In 2008, during the recession, Joe was given an opportunity he could not pass up — the opportunity to buy a Mazda and Hyundai dealership in Tupelo, Mississippi, where he knew no one. He took the plunge and bought the dealership. Joe has worked very hard to maintain a thriving car dealership while raising five daughters. Thanks to the support of his family, one of his daughters and her husband are now part owners.
Due to Joe’s success in Tupelo, he was able to open a Mazda dealership in Jackson, MS, on May 21, 2012, and opened a Pre-Owned Superstore in Starkville, on August 13, 2014. Joe’s goal is to give the people in Starkville a place to find pre-owned vehicles they can trust, thus creating “Clients for Life”!
